Handover & aftercare
Full documentation, certification, app setup and a walkthrough of your system. We stay on the end of the phone afterwards.
Solar Panels FAQs
How many solar panels does my house need?
A typical 3-bedroom home suits a 10-panel system of around 4.5kWp, but the right number depends on your roof space, orientation and how much electricity you use. Our estimate builder suggests a system size for your home, which we fine-tune at the free survey.
Does solar work on an east-west facing roof?
Yes. East-west roofs generate slightly less than a perfect south-facing roof but spread generation across morning and evening, which often matches household usage better. Modern high-output panels make east-west installs well worth doing.
How long does installation take?
Most domestic solar installations are completed in one to two days, with scaffolding erected beforehand. We handle the DNO notification and all certification.
What about MCS certification?
MCS is coming soon for PV Pros. Every installation is carried out by NAPIT registered electricians and fully certified electrically. If export payments (SEG) are a priority for you, talk to us about timing and current options before you book.
Will solar panels damage my roof?
No — panels are fixed to the rafters with tested mounting systems, and in practice they protect the tiles beneath them. We survey your roof structure before any work is priced.
